About My Blog
Oct 19th, 2008 Posted in Uncategorized | no comment »I began this blog in February 2007 as a way to explore the intersection of the creative and the technical, the numinous and the existential, the straight and the queer, the alien and the ordinary. The spork became my mascot: the embodiment of refusing to settle down and be one thing.
Then I got cancer.
So for a while this blog is going to be more about side effects and mood swings and doctor’s appointments than it is about those other things. Except that it’s still me writing it, so my usual fascination with boundaries will probably still come through. And I’m still first and foremost a writer, so Hodgkin’s lymphoma will simply be my lens for a while.
