I’m in a play! You will come see me!
Nov 3rd, 2008 Posted in Daily Post | no comment »Yes indeed, I will be playing the role of Teresa, Soup House waitress and long-suffering girlfriend of Huey Maximilian Bonfigliano in John Patrick Shanley’s “Italian American Reconciliation” (mediocre title, great play–same author who wrote Moonstruck and the Pulitzer-prize winning play Doubt). It’s going to be immense fun, so if you or ANYONE you know lives in the Tampa-St. Pete-Clearwater area, send them to the Dunedin Community Center to see me. I mean, to see the show.
Have I mentioned that I have cancer?
Ooh! Cancer card! Beat that! Now you have to come!
The show is playing Friday 11/7 at 7:30pm, Saturday 11/8 at 2:00pm, and Sunday 11/9 at 2:00pm — and then again the following weekend: Friday 11/14 at 7:30pm, Saturday 11/15 at 7:30pm, and Sunday 11/16 at 2:00pm. (Note that the first Saturday show is an afternoon matinee, while the second show is an evening show.) Get full details on the Dunedin Showcase Theater website.
I know I’m biased, but this is truly going to be a great production. (If I thought the play sucked I wouldn’t be advertising it, trust me.)
Come the first weekend to see me in the throes of chemo #2.
Or, come the second weekend to see if my hair has all fallen out yet.
Either way, come to the show!
