The Skinny

I’m a writer. I’ve written fiction, creative non-fiction, transmedia stories, technical documentation, and — obviously — blog posts. I’ve also written a lot of software (for the web, these last few years), business requirements, and marketing materials.

I got my degree (B.S. in Engineering Physics; yes, I am a rocket scientist) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. During a couple of summers, I spent time volunteering at an outpatient clinic in Chimbote, Peru, a venture that was kindly underwritten by a generous Pittsburgh businessman.

I’ve lived in Philadelphia, Anchorage, Savage, Laurel, Clarksville, Herzilya Pituach, Highland, Dayton (Maryland, not Ohio), Daytona Beach, Port Orange, Orlando, and Dunedin.
